About Us

Since 2009, Pet Cremation Services of East Tennessee has provided compassionate and reliable pet cremation services to families across the region. Founded by Rick and Shea Long, our family-owned and operated business was created to meet a deeply personal need — offering respectful, professional aftercare for beloved pets in a caring environment.

Now, we’re proud to announce our new Knoxville office, expanding our ability to serve families throughout the Knoxville area and surrounding East Tennessee communities. This new location allows us to provide better service, more convenience, and the same level of care and dignity that has defined our business for over a decade.

Rick Long brings decades of experience in the funeral industry as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. After beginning his career in 1986, Rick founded Long’s Cemetery Maintenance, which continues to support cemeteries and funeral homes across Tennessee. He maintains his state funeral licenses and applies that same professionalism to caring for pets and their families.

Shea Long joined the business in 2004 and is also a licensed funeral director in the State of Tennessee. Her background in funeral service and compassionate nature help ensure every family receives personalized attention during a difficult time.

The Longs’ daughter, Logan, and niece, Emma, are both active in the business, helping continue the family tradition of service. You’ll often be greeted by their friendly black lab, Farris, who works tirelessly to bring comfort (and smiles) to every visitor. Occasionally, you may even spot their energetic grand-pup, Rue, making the rounds at the property.

At Pet Cremation Services of East Tennessee, our family is honored to care for yours. Give us a call at our new Knoxville office, where you can trust our team to handle every pet with dignity, respect, and heartfelt compassion.
